Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is a gift from God that allows us to strengthen our relationship with him and celebrate his forgiving love. With the Lord, there is no limit to his forgiveness. Those who approach the sacrament in humble contrition will receive forgiveness from him.

Children typically celebrate their First Reconciliation in 2nd Grade, and are prepared for this sacrament through the Faith Formation program prior to receiving their First Holy Communion. The Archdiocesan requirement is for grade school students to attend one full year of Faith Formation Classes prior to the sacramental year.
