Family Promise of Washington County is a community response to help prevent families from becoming homeless. Resources and services are provided to empower homeless families while providing emergency shelter and expert case management when necessary. Family Promise of Washington County is able to provide meals and overnight accommodations for families enrolled in the program. Volunteers from St. Michael and Holy Trinity provide support to the host church, Peace UCC in Kewaskum. Working side by side, members from all three churches prepare meals, provide evening and breakfast hospitality, and donate food and supplies for one week. Host weeks are on a rotating basis throughout the year, with the united support of over 25 area churches.
Families and individuals interested in more information or participating in this ministry should contact Rhonda Faehling at 262-626-4071 or [email protected].
