Confirmation is one of the Sacraments of Initiation, along with Baptism and Eucharist. The Sacrament of Confirmation draws us into a greater awareness of the Holy Spirit, which we received at Baptism. Through this sacrament, we confirm the presence of the baptismal gifts we have already received; we are sealed with the gift - undeserved and unearned - of the Holy Spirit.
Confirmation takes place in the eleventh grade, following a period of preparation. Teens at both parishes are prepared for this sacrament through the Faith Formation program. Students attending a Catholic High School are required to enroll in the Confirmation program during their Junior year. For more information
